Harry Potter Throw Blanket with Sleeves

My youngest walks around wearing a blue snuggie all the time.  I can understand the point behind it and he does love it when he's playing on the computer, but it's not very fashionable in any sense of the word.

And while this isn't actually something that I can make, if you are a lot more crafty in the sewing department than I am, you could try making this Harry Potter "snuggie".  This is a blanket with arm holes that looks like the Hogwarts robes from Harry Potter.  Genious! I would certainly wear one of these Harry Potter Throw Blanket with Sleeves!

My kids are always losing their things when they go to school. Every time I visit the school, we have to check out the lost and found for coats, lunchboxes, and school supply boxes.

I love these DIY personalized School Label printables from Anders Ruff.  They are available in both boy and girls colors and in different sizes so you can label everything to your heart's desire.  Maybe this will keep me out of the school's office a little bit this year.

Thanksgiving Turkey Chocolate Coffee Spoons

I can't tell you how much I just love these Turkey Chocolate Coffee Spoons by She Knows.  Despite how amazing they look, they seem actually pretty simple to make.  You just need some colored sanding sugar, melted chocolate, Hershey kisses, and chocolate chips.  (Yea, I'm purposely leaving out the caramel, because that's just plain gross.)  I'm going to head out shopping and see if I can pick me up the ingredients as these will be perfect for hot chocolate on Thanksgiving evening!

Solar Powered Chandelier

There's just something about a re-purposed Chandelier that Awes and Inspires me.  This Solar Powered Chandelier by Not Just Paper and Glue is certainly no exception.  I love to remake those ugly treasures from Goodwill into amazing statement pieces like I did with the Alice in Wonderland Teapot Chandelier, and the candy themed one I'm currently working on.

This solar powered version is Amazing!  I would love to have this in my backyard to light up a fun summer night while cooking s'mores, stargazing, or just chatting with friends.  I wonder how Dear Hubby would feel if I started on the hunt for a new chandelier even before I finished my current one.  After all, you can never have enough of a good thing, right?

Dinosaur Serving Dish

How great is this Dinosaur Serving Dish by Three Little Monkeys Studio?  I just love how awesome it is.  It would be just great for a dinosaur birthday party, or for a little boy's dinosaur bedroom.  You could use it to put crayons or other little toys on beside a bed or on a desk.  So awesome!

Its  such a great idea and opens up ideas for all kinds of serving dish ideas.  You can find all kinds of cheap plastic toys at the Dollar stores or Walmart to use for any number of themes.  So easy, cute, and flexible.

Mini Me's Watermelon BBQ Birthday party is coming up soon, so I had to save this yummy looking Watermelon Lemonade Slushie from No Biggie.  I am a BIG fan of watermelon too.  (Yea, that's probably where Mini Me gets it from) so I'm REALLY looking forward to trying this recipe.
