My youngest walks around wearing a blue snuggie all the time. I can understand the point behind it and he does love it when he's playing on the computer, but it's not very fashionable in any sense of the word.
And while this isn't actually something that I can make, if you are a lot more crafty in the sewing department than I am, you could try making this Harry Potter "snuggie". This is a blanket with arm holes that looks like the Hogwarts robes from Harry Potter. Genious! I would certainly wear one of these Harry Potter Throw Blanket with Sleeves
