Ribbon Necklace

Moore Babies shared how to make this Ribbon and Pearl Necklace.  I'm not really a huge jewelry girl. Not overall.  I have a few pieces that I love, but not many.  But I just think this is so neat. I love how simple and easy it is to make.  It can be customized in whatever color to match your outfit color too.  How cool is that?

Teacher Appreciation Gift

A Turtle's Life for Me shared this great Teacher Appreciation Gift idea.  I think it's such a clever way to give a teacher gift cards for a hard year of work.  Some teachers just go above and beyond and this would be a great way to say thanks!

Harry Potter Butter Beer

Cupcake Kisses 'n' Crumbs shared the recipe for Butter Beer.  We loved the Harry Potter books and I read all of them to my youngest kids through the last year at bedtime.  As we finished each book, we would watch the movie and compare.  Wouldn't it be fun to watch the next with a Harry Potter party and serve Butter Beer? I don't know how it would taste, since I'm a marginal fan of butterscotch, but I think we may just have to try.

Paper Chess Set

Paper, Plate, and Plane shared the directions on making this amazing paper chess set.  My hubby loves to collect chess sets and they are ALWAYS so expensive.  So last year, I attmpted to make him a chocolate one, which we actually ate before getting to play with, so I think this year I'll try this one.  It will truly be unique and different than any set we'll ever be able to find and I LOVE that.

Cute Cake Pop Tower

That's My Letter shared her plans for this display Tower.  This tower is perfect for displaying suckers or cake pops.  I wonder if I can talk Dear Hubby into making one for me? Or BF's hubby?  I'm not allowed to work with wood, or more precisely Power Tools.  It seems I can chop my finger off with a cheese grater, so I'm not allowed the fun toys.  But I REALLY want one of these.  I think I'll attempt to make one with styrofoam in the meantime....sigh.
